LOTUS CHOLORINE DIOXIDE GENERATORS
LOTUS chlorine dioxide generators are versatile and highly effective for micro-organism control in various water systems. They are particularly beneficial for mitigating, controlling, and preventing Legionella in both hot and cold water systems across multiple industries.
The design of LOTUS systems for biological control using chlorine dioxide is both safe and dependable. It eliminates the need to handle chlorine dioxide as a gas. Instead, LOTUS systems generate chlorine dioxide through a reaction between two liquid chemicals: Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) and Sodium Chlorite (NaClO2). This approach ensures that there is no exposure to ClO2 gas or concentrated solutions outside the process application. An activated carbon filter is incorporated to safeguard against any potential exhalations.
The EMEC online control system, ERMES, enhances the functionality of LOTUS systems. It allows for remote monitoring and management through an easy-to-use yet powerful web interface, enabling control from any location.

Lotus Mini
The LOTUS MINI offers an all-encompassing, efficient water disinfection solution. Its elegant cover protects the internal parts, ensuring their longevity. The chlorine dioxide production can be proportional to the circulating water flow or based on a measured setpoint.
With the LOTUS MINI, there is no storage of chlorine dioxide, eliminating the presence of chlorine dioxide gas or concentrated solutions outside its process application. Additionally, it can be fitted with a sensor for detecting chlorine dioxide gas.

Lotus Maxi
The LOTUS MAXI is a series of complete and robust chlorine dioxide generators, designed for superior water disinfection, particularly in large water treatment facilities. This series generates chlorine dioxide that is either proportionate to the circulating water flow or determined by a setpoint, before being dosed into the water flow. Additionally, the LOTUS MAXI can be outfitted with a sensor for detecting gas.

Lotus Ultra
The LOTUS ULTRA is EMEC’s largest chlorine dioxide generator and excels in high-capacity scenarios, making it ideal for the largest water treatment facilities. This system produces chlorine dioxide using two base concentrated chemicals: 33% Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) and 25% Sodium Chlorite (NaClO2).
The chlorine dioxide produced by the LOTUS ULTRA is set to be either proportional to the circulating water’s flow rate or according to a setpoint, then dosed into the water flow. Additionally, the LOTUS ULTRA can be fitted with a gas detection sensor for safety monitoring.
